The standard steel bar threaded connector is suitable for connecting two steel bars of the same diameter, one of which can be rotated. It includes an internally threaded sleeve with two right-handed threads, the right-handed thread tapers toward the middle of the connector. The end of the rod is square cut and threaded on the rod. Each threaded rod end should allow a nominal margin of +25mm to allow for square cuts on the rod end.
The connector is usually screwed to the rebar in the rebar threading workshop, and its internal thread is protected by a plastic end cap. The threaded end of the post is protected by a plastic thread protector.
